May 4, 2003 Chase
After chasing northwest Texas the day before, and not getting home until very late, there was little time for celebration or rest before getting ready to head out to northeast Oklahoma for today's chase. This day had outbreak potential, but our funds were running low and we would be limited on how far we could go. Despite that, the same group from the previous day once again loaded up in Chad's Blazer (with Chris in tow in his truck) and headed towards Tulsa. Chris had no money but did have a check, which he told us he needed a WAL-MART to cash. We decided to drive to Tulsa, since we figured a WAL-MART would be easy to find there. We raced up I-44 and made great time. Along the way, we decided to adjust our target further east from Tulsa, and headed to Chouteau instead.
